On May 26, Seneca Women, Virtue Foundation and Cornell Law School’s Avon Global Center for Women and Justice hosted a breakfast and roundtable discussion about women, justice and progress for some of the 900 judges who met in Washington, DC for the 25th anniversary gathering of the International Association of Women Judges.
Melanne Verveer, Kim Azzarelli and Judge Ann Claire Williams of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit led the discussion that drew in audience members from locales including New Zealand, Zambia, Nepal, Kenya—and the U.S. Following the breakfast panel, Kim conducted a workshop on the principles of Fast Forward: Know your power, find your purpose, connect with others.
